ICT Support

CCS ICT services will make information guides and FAQs readily available to assist parents in the management of their devices. Should parents and students have a management issue that they are unable to rectify, the student should bring the device to CCS ICT services who will be happy to assist.

If an iPad requires repair, either due to a hardware failure, or accidental damage, students should bring the iPad to ICT services along with a completed repair form.

In the case of damage to the iPad, parents will be charged for the repairs at the following rate:

First damage instance over the life of the device
  • $0 administration fee
  • 50% of the invoiced cost of the repair
Second damage instance over the life of the device
  • $40 administration fee
  • 75% of the invoiced cost of the repair
Third damage instance over the life of the device
  • $70 administration fee
  • 100% of the invoiced cost of the repair

Note that the school has negotiated reduced repair rates with a support partner.

Warranty Repairs for BYOD devices

Families who choose to bring their own notebook, or purchase outside of the CCS purchasing portal, take on full responsibility for warranties, insurance and repairs. Purchasing specific mobile device insurance is strongly recommended.

Where appropriate the CCS ICT team will provide support and warranty repairs for BYOD devices bought via the CCS portal. The school may be able to provide a loan device for the duration of the repair.
