On Tuesday February 26, Andrew Daniels (Assistant Minister at Frenchs Forest Anglican Church, and former TAS Teacher at Covenant Christian School) gave a talk on How the Bible fits together. We had 25 teachers attend the afternoon to learn and think about how the Bible ought to shape the way we live, and the way we teach our students from a Biblically-informed world view. Andrew did a wonderful job, and we were grateful for the opportunity to learn from him. The afternoon formed part of a course we are teaching on Tuesday afternoons at Covenant. Eight teachers are studying Foundations of Christian Education with the National Institute for Christian Education this semester, where they are being challenged to think about the impact of the Bible on educational practice.
