Introducing Mr Nick Williams, our new TAS Coordinator and Year 9-12 Industrial Technology teacher. We asked Mr Williams a few questions to get to
know him better.
Tell us about your family? I am blessed with a beautiful, hardworking wife who almost has the same name as me and two young
boys, Bede who is 2 and Emerson who is 11 months.
Why have you come to work at Covenant? Covenant is the school that I would send my children to if they were school aged!
What an opportunity and a blessing it is to encourage and nurture students to trust Jesus as their Lord.
What do you enjoy about TAS? I love seeing students use their God given abilities to design, create, shape and form things.
We get a small glimpse of just how much of an amazingly creative designer our God is.
Tell us about how you encountered Jesus? Growing up in a Christian household meant that I knew the truths of the Bible from
a very young age. But knowing and trusting are two very different things, and it wasn’t until I was a student at university that I truly asked
Jesus to be my king, and take over every aspect of my life.
What job would you be terrible at? Anything that involved extreme heights, so I am going to go with a skyscraper window cleaner.
What is the best single day on the calendar? Christmas – Jesus’ birthday, family, food, presents!
What movie title best describes your life? The Wiggles Movie
What question would you most like to know the answer to? What fish is that?
Thanks Mr Williams, and welcome to Covenant.
